Why whyld?

The first question I would have to answer on this website would be why I chose the name whyld. It’s simple really, I wanted to have a very easy name for people to remember. At the same time I didn’t want to spend a large amount of money buying a domain name. 2. November 2007 the last four letter domain name was registered, so I knew I would have to choose at least a five letter domain name.
I wanted to have the word “why “in the domain name, as explaining people why is what whyld is all about. Most five letter domains containing the very common word “why” were already taken when I came up with the idea for this website, and whyld was simply the best sounding one left out there. I am quite happy with whyld.com to be honest, and I hope you as a reader will enjoy the content here.
